Brenda Taylor is pleased to announce a Juried Exhibition Opportunity that is open to all artists working in painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, or other media.

The 12 artists chosen will be included in an exhibition from March 15th through March 31st 2012 at the Brenda Taylor Gallery in Chelsea. All artists who are not accepted with receive a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation with Brenda Taylor.

TO BE RECEIVED:

Applicants may submit a maximum of 6 JPEG images of recent available work. Please do not send images in a zip file. Images should be labeled with the title, year, medium, size, and sale price. Artists should also include a bio, statement and contact information within their submission. Please include a SASE if you are mailing your submission so we may respond to those who are not accepted.

APPLICATION FEE:

Please note that there is a $25 dollar application fee. Your application should include a $25 dollar check made payable to Brenda Taylor Gallery. You may pay online by clicking the ‘Buy Now’ link at the bottom of our juried exhibition page, found here: http://brendataylorgallery.com/juriedexhibition.htm. For paypal you may submit payment by clicking ‘send money’, ‘send money online’, and then entering bt@brendataylorgallery.com.

ACCEPTED WORK:

Accepted work should mailed to the gallery and ready to hang. Please include a mailing label so that we may return unsold work to the artist promptly. Please avoid using peanuts as packing material. Brenda Taylor Gallery takes a 40% commission on sales.

The deadline for this opportunity is February 28 2012.
