BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

David Stewart set up his own studio in 1984 working on commissions with leading advertising and design agencies in London, Europe and America.

His colorful, minimalist and humorous style is internationally recognized.  This is illustrated in award winning campaigns for American Express, Coca Cola, Levis, Heinz, Heals, and N Power.  More recently Stewart won two lions at Cannes for the Quality Street campaign.

Stewart is continually working on personal projects.  In 1995 he directed the BAFTA nominated short film ‘Cabbage.’  At the ICA in London he had an exhibition to launch the book ‘Fogeys’ which won silver at the Art directors Club of New York. Stewart has been accepted at the National Portraiture Awards seven times.
